ABOUT AGHS 2025

Following the success of the South Africa Green Hydrogen Summits in 2022 and 2023, AGHS 2025 marked a strategic shift toward a continent-wide initiative, aligning with Africa's green-industrialisation and sustainability goals.

As a key G20-aligned event, AGHS 2025 convened high-level government officials, international investors, energy experts, industry leaders and policymakers to explore Africa's position as a global leader in green-hydrogen production.

The summit opened with the launch of the African Green Hydrogen Report, setting the tone for two days of high-level dialogue on Africa's hydrogen future.

The opening programme included the SAREM pledge, an official HIVE Hydrogen signing ceremony, and an IDC-KfW MOU signing with a funding announcement.
